About Us

Green & Peter was established in 1993 when Robert Green and Derek Peter decided to join forces after both returning to practice having spent many years in commerce. Their combined commercial experience has enabled them to offer proactive commercial as well as professional advice to their client’s.

In 1993 they joined forces with Ian Lobatto in their present offices in Whetstone. The practice has expanded rapidly by recommendation and word of mouth.

Robert Green

Robert qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1976 serving his articles in a medium sized firm in the West End of London. After qualifying he moved to Deloittes, one of the “big four” firms of Chartered Accountants and obtained experience on large Public Company audits. He then became Financial Director of a large national retail group and it is this experience that he is able to pass on to his client’s in the furtherance and running of their own businesses.

Derek Peter

Derek qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1973 serving his articles in a medium sized firm in The City. After qualifying he joined KPMG initially in the London office, then in the San Francisco office and then became a partner in the Bahrain office in The Middle East. In 1982 he became Finance Director of Tottenham Hotspur PLC and was instrumental in taking the company Public. He now specialises in providing consultancy services to small and medium sized companies.

Ian Lobatto

Ian qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1976 after working for a firm of accountants in the City and subsequently Levy Gee where he specialised in personal and company taxation. He left Levy Gee to set-up his own Practice and has over 35 years experience dealing with small and medium sized businesses. Ian has extensive experience in the travel and leisure sectors.

Forhad Ahmed

Forhad joined Green & Peter in 1995 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996. In 2000, he joined Deloitte in Saudi Arabia as an Audit Manager. His main service clients were multi-national companies and high net worth individuals. His role also included corporate finance and one of Due Diligence assignments. Forhad returned to Green and Peter in 2004 and is Manager of the audit department and also deals with specialist assignments.

Meena Kamdar

Meena joined Green & Peter in 1997 as a secretary. Following many years of experience, she now heads up our Payroll Department taking responsibility for providing the Payroll Bureau service to our clients, which she carefully coordinates to ensure a smooth running department. Meena also manages our Statutory Department. Reliability and integrity are at the centre of her success.
